GemDev

Eclipse Development Environment for GemStone/S.

GemDev is (highly) experimental implementation of Eclipse-based IDE for GemStone Smalltalk, with intention to bring mainstream tools to Smalltalk.

IDE provides features like Smalltalk Browser, code editor or object inspector. Basic navigation functionality (searching for references/implementors/senders) is available together with syntax coloring, hyperlinking, onĀ  the fly syntax error checking and code warnings.

Features still to be implemented are debugger (missing), better parser or tighter integration with SVN.

Please check New & Noteworthy for more features, help embedded in Eclipse (online version here) , GemDev video or contact me on my email. All files are availabe under open beta license.
